Time with Family Before Emma Comes

We had Kevin, Sherry, and Clay over the weekend before Emma was born. I love these pictures of Sydney smiling at Uncle Kevin.

Independence Baby!

My attempt to get a themed picture for Sydney's 10th month.

Sydney's First Baseball Game

We went to a Reds game on July 3rd. Sydney sat on my or Steve's lap the entire time, and she did wonderfully. After the game, they shot off fireworks, which didn't scare Sydney at all. The third picture is her watching the fireworks.

Sydney and Jeter

We had Sydney outside with us as we worked in the garden. Steve let Jeter roam the yard too. Sydney watched Jeter everywhere he went and didn't mind a bit that he kept licking her. (Don't worry, mom, I gave her a bath when we went inside!)

Sydney Laughing

Sydney's laughing box has been very easy to turn on lately. We love to hear her laugh. Its hasn't changed much since she first let out a big laugh at Grandpa Whalen.

Pictures From New York in April

Grandpa and His Tractor

Grandpa took Sydney for a ride on his tractor. We couldn't tell if she was enjoying it or was scared to death. I think she will enjoy it much more when she a little older.

Some of My Favorite Photos of Sydney

These are all different ages of Sydney. I will have to be better about posting in date order, once I get caught up.

Here's Papa!

6/8/09 Sydney loves to talk to Papa and Grammy!

Watching John MacArthur

Steve and I like to listen to John MacArthur preach. I was trying to video Sydney while she was looking up and listening to him. At one point, she was up on her hands and one knee.

This was Sydney's first swimming experience in January when we went to Indianapolis for our anniversary. She was very calm, and she seemed to really enjoy it.

Loving Aunt Amy

6/10/09 Sydney and I decided we would visit Aunt Amy while she was off of work for a week. It was a long drive, but Sydney did wonderful on the drive for mommy. After Sydney settled in, she "let" Aunt Amy hold her. She even started loving on her.
