Some of My First Steps

Sydney can take a few steps now on her own. She getting more confident each day. I don't think it will long before she's walking instead of crawling. I wouldn't be surprised if she is by Thanksgiving.

My New Dress From Mommy

Here is my attempt to sew Sydney a "pillowcase" dress. It took me around an hour. The next one will be quicker for me now that I know how.

New Toy From Grammy and Papa

Grammy and Papa sent Sydney a new toy--a train set. Sydney was eager to get the box open. She didn't get the concept of the train track because she kept wanting to pick it up or sit on it. Thankfully, the train runs on the carpet without the track. I think she really likes it! Good choice, Grammy and Papa!

Sydney Likes The Pumpkin

I had to put Sydney up on the table to see the pumpkins. She's pretty much standing on her own now. She's growing up so fast!!!

Tom's Corn Maze

On Saturday, October 3rd, we went to Tom's Corn Maze with our church. The corn maze was a lot of fun. It took us 46 minutes to get through. We were able to push Sydney in the stroller. She just sat back with her sippy cup and didn't say a peep. After we got through, she enjoyed the pumpkins they had for sale.

Cars!

This is one of my favorite pictures. This last Friday we got to have Clay and Emma over again. Clay loves to look out our picture window and watch the cars. And since Sydney likes to be wherever Clay is, she's doing the same.

Sydney's First Baseball Game

We went to a Reds game on July 3rd. Sydney sat on my or Steve's lap the entire time, and she did wonderfully. After the game, they shot off fireworks, which didn't scare Sydney at all. The third picture is her watching the fireworks.

Sydney and Jeter

We had Sydney outside with us as we worked in the garden. Steve let Jeter roam the yard too. Sydney watched Jeter everywhere he went and didn't mind a bit that he kept licking her. (Don't worry, mom, I gave her a bath when we went inside!)

Sydney's laughing box has been very easy to turn on lately. We love to hear her laugh. Its hasn't changed much since she first let out a big laugh at Grandpa Whalen.
